FOSSIL FUELS

  • Australian energy company Woodside announces it’ll invest $18 billion to develop an LNG export terminal in Louisiana. (The Guardian)
  • A group of northeastern utilities ask federal regulators to improve gas pipeline reliability by taking steps such as requiring annual reliability reports and requiring pipeline owners to reconsider closing pipelines that might still provide value as redundant facilities. (Utility Dive)

BIOFUELS

  • The EPA says it will allow year-round sales of higher ethanol gasoline blends, following President Trump’s order telling the agency to consider the move. (The Hill)
